I am CIFed the inventory to APO system. Product view stock updated in Active version 000 with batch numbers successfully but stock not updated in inactive version 001. May i know the reason.

SNP PReq creation
Hi Experts,
I need your help in understanding the system-behavior for creation of SNP PReqs. We are using SNP heuristic as planning engine.
I have two questions here :
1. Why system does not create one PReq each for each Forecast demand when the lot-sizing policy is lot-for-lot ?
2. For the Forecast of 11th Jan -- the available stock is going in negative.Why does system not procure in-time to avoid going in negative ?

Need to use Transportation zone for TLB
Hi Gurus,
In my current assignment, i have a requirement to club destination locations for Transport Load Building.
I have tried to make this scenario work in APO by creating a transportation zone ZB12 (location type : 1005).
Here, A001 is start location and B001,B002 are the destination location present at same zone.
So i club this B001,B002 and create it under Transportation zone ZB12.
For this clubbing, i have defined Hierarchy master data for 2 levels so it is connected them as below :
ZB12---> B001,B002.

I have also maintained transport relevant hierarchy for TLB Application also.
But when i am trying to do the TLB in TLB interactive screen i am facing the below error :
" Error determining the locations in transport zone ZB12".
Can you please guide me if any settings missed by me while configuration.

Demand priority using Rank of the product
Hi ,
I want to add time dependent priority as criteria for demand sorting in CTM.
So I defined the Rank of the product in product master.
In the CTM profile demands Tab, I can add the sort criteria "MRANK" and it works fine.
But I do not find this sort criteria in customizing transaction "Define sort profile" . I would like to define the sort profile in customizing and assign in ctm profile , so that no user can accidently change / alter the demand sorting sequence.
Can you help to understand , why MRANK is not available in customizing transaction "Define sort profile".

Load Clubbing in TLB
Hi,
We are using Deployment and TLB in SAP APO.
Requirement is to club the load of 2 destinations together to consider for TLB.
We have created a transportation zone TRZONE2 ( loc type 1005)
Created hierarchy for this zone with two depots Dest1 & Dest2.
Assigned hierarchy to the Model
Created T lanes TRZONE2 >TRZONE2 , TRZONE2 > Dest1 & TRZONE2 > Dest2
Lanes also exist for Source1 to Dest1 & Dest2
When we try to run TLB with these settings, system gives error - "Error determining the locations in transport zone TRZONE2".
System does not execute TLB.
Anyone worked on this / faced error before?
Any help is appreciated.

ALERT_EXIST() Macro Function
Hello Guys,
Can you please help in using ALERT_EXIST() Standard Macro function, what arguments we need to pass to it and what it will return.
Below is the only documentation available on this function
ALERT_EXIST( ALERT ) returns the number of alerts/statuses that exist for alert/status type ALERT for the current selection. The argument of this function is analert/status element.
I am passing ALERT( ' 8007 ' ), but its going to dump.

SNP PDS ECC change not reflecting in APO
Hi Experts
I am trying to change the ECC SNP PDS - field - Single level variable cost in an existing PDS (existing in APO as well) through PDS_MAINT transaction in ECC. However, the change is not getting reflected in APO. Integration model is already active. I tried CFM1 / CFM2 after making this change as well however it is still not changing the cost field in APO.
I also tried CURTO_CREATE in ECC to transfer these changes in APO. Still no update in the cost field. I can see the last change in APO through CURTO_CREATE in the last changed time but no update in the value of the cost though.
Can you please suggest what is causing this issue? Do I need to delete the PDS from APO before I push these changes to APO from ECC?

Reorder Point Planning via SNP heuristics based on ACTUAL stock
Hi All,
In R/3 there is the option in reorder point planning to take into account external requirements (MRP type V1) or not to take into account external requirements (VB). When using reorder point planning in APO SNP Heuristics, the reorder point is being determined in time based on the PROJECTED stock (so taking into account external requirements) so the result is the same as in R/3 when using MRP type V1. In the future horizon, everytime the projected stock goes below the reorder point, a replenishment is triggerd via a planned order or purchase requisition.
I would like to know if (and how) it is possible to perform reorder point planning in APO SNP via heuristics (can be location or network) only taking into account the ACTUAL stock (and no external requirements in the past or in the future). So, the same behavior as the MRP type VB in R/3. The difference is that only on the short term, 1 time replenishment is triggered (via planned order or purchase requisition) if the current stock is below the reorder point.
Remarks: this needs to be able to be set product specific, because not all products at the location will need to use this logic.
Any help or thoughts for a solution direction (preferably without programming or user exits) are appreciated.

Unique Deployment error
Dear Experts,
Sometimes the following error appears in the deployment job logs, "An attempt was made to read an ATD qty outside the time buck. prfl. (Bucket)"
Has anyone come across this error before, i would like to know what could cause this error. Also from the logs it is not clear which product location could be causing the issue. This seems to be something which cannot be replicated. From the error message text I tried to simulate this in the test environments by maintaining some ATD demandoutside the time bucket profile period but couldnt succeed.
Any advice is highly appreciated

NDV2 inconsistency
Hi Experts,
Need some insight / information of NDV2
In ECC system we maintain the release information of the connected APO system via transaction NDV2. If this release information is incorrect what is the impact ? i.e if the connected APO is in SCM7.0 EHP3 , but the release in ECC is maintained as 5.1 what are the possible impact to CIF / integration ?
based on some initial search, i found the way the CIF structures will be modelled will vary depending on the release information maintained here. Do we have any further information ?

SAP APO DP - Multiple forecast profiles for different business
Hello Experts,
We have one business requirement wherein we have to set up Forecasting model for different business group of client.
Current Situation - We run one forecasting model for Sales History. There is one planning book, planning area , background job and selection profile for current business.
New Requirement - Customer will have three market segment. Each market will have different Forecast profile. We need to sort material based on market segment and apply Forecast model to those material.
My understanding - I need to create 3 selection profiles for 3 market segments and apply different Forecast profile for respective selection profile. I believe . This is very high level thought.
I need detailed inputs on how to maintain 3 forecast profiles in one planning area and planning book.

Forecast Keyfigure update root cause unknown
There are four products at one location In our planning book Forecast Key figure is updated with incorrect data . But we are not able to find the root cause on it.
User said there is no manual update from them on this forecast key figure.
I have checked the planned independent requirements haven't come from ECC system.
Checked the process chain which releases forecasts from DP to SNP , but it doesn't have the material which we are looking into.

Custom date horizon in Macros
Hi All,
Wanted to check if there is possibility to have the macros executed for dynamic date range. For example, one month would need the macro to run from Jan- June 2016, next month from March-July 2016 etc.
Can it be accomplished via user exit macros? Please suggest the approach.

Planninng book drill down & macro's
Hi Experts,
we have our planning book functioning but I'm trying to make further enhancements to it so we can refine our forecasts even more.
Statistical forecast is run at Product, Location, Sales Region
From here we have a macro to manual adjust Stat FC (with % or quantity adjustments) to produce a consensus forecast (KF1) which is what we currently transfer to ERP as our forecast.
But, we'd like to take this consensus FC (KF1) and drill down another level (Product, location, sales region and customer) and have the ability to make adjustments to the customer level with a % or quantity adjustment and then have this total into a "Customer FC" (KF2) KF.
Also with this, KF1 will be disaggregated based on previous sales history.
Then the aim is to have this calculate into a Final consensus FC (KF3). This could be aggregated, or if we need to use a different method to sum up the new forecast it wouldn't matter.
We have macros working on specific detail levels so do understand this functionality.
My first problem is how I keep the value in KF1 when we drill down to the next level. Because its calculated from a macro the value disappears on drill down.
I'm sure as we progess we'll discover more issues but can this be done in the Pl Bk (I've tried to keep this scenario basic)?

here I am not being able to comprehend what does ADD action exactly used for and are its uses same for Dynamic and Database alerts. As I could see few macro applies ADD action to Aux.Rows .

I just came across a SNP macro which uses a function called SHLF_EXP_QUANTITY().
I searched for this function on help.sap.com --SNP functions-- SNP Functions - Planning Area Administration - SAP Library
I did not find this function anywhere also it is poorly documented over internet.
Where can I get information about this function.

Time proportions calc
Hi, DP easily gives us the proportional quantities of a key-figure in the corresponding buckets as we shift among different time bucket profiles in a data view. But is there any way to capture the actual proportions themselves?
Example: My storage bucket profile has month and week. I have updated the forecast of 200 KG in a monthly bucket and the time based dis-aggregation for this key-figure is P (proportional allocation). This meaning, I see it equally distributed in the lower buckets (weekly) - say 50 / 50 / 50 / 50. Is there anyways SAP provides us the option here by looking at the volumes in weekly buckets and generating the proportions itself - meaning 25% / 25% / 25% / 25% ?
This comes as a requirement when business wants to directly enter the forecast in weekly buckets but would like to see the proportions of each week for the corresponding month. We can get this calculated as part of a macro, but if SAP has already stored this value considering my storage bucket profile - the question comes to me as to why should I as a consultant take the effort in calculating this myself using some macro?
