Macro to copy sales order quantity into Key Figure to use it for planning

Dear experts,

i am trying to realize following approach:

1) I created 2 new key figures KF_SIM and KF_ADJ.

2) In planning book KF_SIM is ready for entries.

3) Create a macro that copies KF_SIM to KF_ADJ if KF_SIM isn't initial, otherwise the value of the standard key figure for sales orders (9ADMDP1) is copied into KF_ADJ.

4) Use the value of KF_ADJ in CTM run as demand for planning.

1) to 3) works fine as long as KF_ADJ is a "LiveCache: time series"(Semantic: 001) key figure.

But for step 4) I need to assign in the planning area a category to KF_ADJ to get the demand into the planning scope.

This is (as far as I can see) only possible for KF with semantic: 000 "LiveCache:Order".   -> or am I wrong??

After changing the semantic for KF_ADJ to 000 in planning area the macro as described in 3) does not work anymore, the value for KF_ADJ is not changed.

The purpose of this is that the customer wants to to be able to adjust customer demands to simulate several production scenarios for the future.

I am struggling with this since days without progress, so any contribution will be highly appreciated.

Thanks!

Heinz
