I am involving in Planning area transport for the first time and need help in understanding the steps. Transporting from DEV to Quality.
Were we created a new POS and Planning Area. Please help in providing the steps. As I understood that
1) Is that Chars and Key Figures to be transported before Planning area transport? or the Info objects transferd along with PA at same time?
2) Weather the Planning area in Source system to be deactivated before doing transport ? or active planning area can also be transported?
3) T-code: /N/SAPAPO/TSOBJ: Shows many fields
Transport of planning books: I can enter all the planning books and can be transported along with PA at same time?
Transport Of Planning Areas: Planning area name(POS can be transported along with PA)?
With DataSource transport: transport the PA data source for backup cube. right?
With Info Object Transport: transport Key Figures and Chars to source system before PA transport. right?( If it transfers the point 1 is not required, is that Right?
4) Is that in T-code: /N/SAPAPO/TSOBJ: The new planning area and planning books can be transported at same time or need create a couple of transports, first for PA and Second for Planning Books.
5) Is the storage buckets also transported along with PA? if not how to transport the Storage bucket or to be created directly in Quality system?
