I have a question if it is possible to set up specific MOQs
for different locations.
Let me try to explain with an example:
I have product A, which is ordered at a supplier with a MOQ
of 100pcs from a central location C. The central location C receives demands
for product A from other locations: location X, location Y and location Z.
Those locations share a distribution center, lets call it DC.
Furthermore, there is a shipment MOQ from the central
location C to the distribution center location of 50pcs.
Now I would like to know, if it is possible to set up
another MOQ for each location X, Y and Z, such as:
- Location X, MOQ: 50pcs
- Location Y, MOQ: 40pcs
- Location Z, MOQ: 20pcs
Additionally, I would like to know if the following is
possible:
Whenever Location X enters a demand below 50pcs, the
respective demand planner cannot save it or a failure message appears? So no demand should be triggered, if the MOQ is not fulfilled.
So in the end, I have
- Production MOQ at the supplier: 100pcs
- Shipment MOQ from central location to
distribution center: 50pcs - Different demand MOQ for each location X, Y, Z
